Description of the Business
The Group's main trading activities all involve specialist industrial chemicals supplying three distinctive and different market sectors.
The "Armourcote" Surface Coatings Division utilises process chemistry for coating and finishing a wide variety of metal components. These coatings are designed to inhibit corrosion and provide surface release. Our sub-contracting operations, which are carried out in the UK, Australia and Malaysia, are predominantly for the Oil & Gas industry.
The "Ultraseal" Automotive Sealants Division manufactures and supplies resin sealants and related chemicals used to eliminate micro porosity in metal castings. We have followed automotive companies and their suppliers to wherever they set up their operations around the world and thus we continue to be in the supply chain wherever manufacturing takes place.
The "TAM International" Construction Chemicals Division manufactures and supplies specialist chemicals, polymers and epoxies for the civil construction, tunnelling & mining, and general building industries.
These three leading brands are recognised and respected by a diverse range of industries and sought out by many of the world’s leading multi-national manufacturers.
The three main chemical activities are supported by the Engineering Division which designs and manufactures a range of chemical process plants. This includes extraction systems, pollution control equipment, vacuum impregnation plant and non-destructive testing equipment.
The parent Company’s principal activity is to operate as the holding company of the Group.
