TAM uses polymer and epoxy technology for its range of chemical products to use in waterproofing, leak sealing, ground stabilization, underground structures, general building and concrete repairs. 

What are our Construction chemicals applications?

Underground Construction

In Underground Constructions we have responded to the demand for sprayed concrete solutions to meet the swing from dry to wet mix applications for tunnelling where single shell structures provide large cost reductions to construction. Our chemicals, admixtures, expertise and sophisticated spraying equipment enable successful project results. 

Waterproofing

Our Waterproofing products include the TamSeal, TamSet, and TamSil ranges. When TamSeal products are applied to a concrete surface the active chemicals combine with the free lime and moisture present in the capillary track, to form insoluble crystalline complexes. These crystals block the capillaries and minor shrinkage cracks in the concrete to prevent any further water ingress (even under pressure). However, the layer will still allow the passage of water vapour through the structure (i.e. the concrete will still be able to "breathe"). In addition to waterproofing the structure, TamSeal protects concrete against seawater, wastewater, aggressive ground water and certain chemical solutions.

Leak Sealing

We offer a comprehensive range of leak sealing grouts and resins to the construction industry. Our materials include TamAcryl Injection Grout a two component ultra low viscosity hydrophilic acrylic grout which, when set, forms a resilient waterproof gel. Adjusting the amount of accelerator and hardener varies the gel time to enable greater control on site. The reaction time can be varied to suit the prevailing conditions. TamAcryl Injection Gel is a blend of acrylic polymers in conjunction with an accelerator and catalyst system. Upon mixing of the components a chemical reaction occurs and the waterproof gel is formed.

Ground Stabilization

We offer a full range of high strength ground resins to the construction industry. Our materials include for example GEOTEK/TamPur 110, a low viscosity single component polyurethane that exhibits excellent penetrability, strength and durability suitable for stabilizing most soil types. TamPur 115 for example is a two component organic-material injection product intended for consolidation of rock, brick or soil. The product is applied using a pump unit and an injection gun. The mixing of the two agents, a resin and a catalyst, sets off the reaction to form the product.

General Building

Our product range supports contractors working on surface treatments, bonding and surface enhancements, water stopping, void filling, crack repairs etc. Our range includes TamRez a low modulus, extra low viscosity epoxy designed for crack injection, which will accommodate minor movements, shock or vibration. Our product range offers solutions to applications in dry and underwater environments. 

Concrete Repair

We offer a full range of products from high build repair mortars, polymer enhanced floor repair materials, flowable and pourable non-shrink grouts to coatings, adhesives, epoxies and enhancing systems - we can support you across large and small projects. Our TamCrete product range is available as an easy to use, general purpose grout capable of supporting heavy-duty load bearing units that can be pumped, poured or trowelled, vibrated or rodded.
