Peter L Hay
Chairman
Peter Hay was appointed to the Board in 1977.
He was Group Technical Director for five years and subsequently Group Managing Director for eleven years.
Victor P Bellanti
Chief Executive
Victor Bellanti joined Norman Hay plc in 1993 as Finance Director and was appointed Chief Executive in March 2000.
He graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 1979 with a degree in Business Studies and qualified as Management Accountant in 1981.
Victor has worked for a number of multinational companies including GEC and Wabco and spent three years with Commercial Intertech in Luxembourg.
Anthony M Hay
Non-Executive Director
Anthony Hay has been a director of the company for forty four years, served as Chairman from 1984 to 1993 and is independent from the day to day running of the Group.
He is Chairman of the Audit and Remuneration Committees.
David W Miller
Non-Executive Director
David Miller was Chief Operating Officer up until his retirement in December 2006.
He was employed by Norman Hay plc for seven years, following a successful international executive career. In February 2007 David rejoined the company as Non-Executive Director.
Brigid M Cattle
Company Secretary
Brigid Cattle was appointed Company Secretary of Norman Hay plc in September 2000.
Previously she was the Human Resources Director of Ultraseal International, which was acquired by the Group in 1989.
Nick Ogden
Group Financial Controller
Nick Ogden graduated from Birmingham University in 1995 with a degree in Money, Banking and Finance and joined BDO Stoy Hayward LLP in January 1995. He became a senior manager in their Business Assurance team before joining Norman Hay plc in 2008.
His responsibilities at BDO included planning, co-ordination and delivery of audits. He managed a portfolio of businesses, including manufacturing, chemical and service companies, acquiring considerable relevant sector knowledge.
Lee Shelton
Director of International Business Development
Lee Shelton joined Ultraseal in 1999 as Asia Pacific Sales Manager and was promoted in October 2007 to Asia Pacific Director of Ultraseal International and Director of International Business Development for Norman Hay plc.
Lee has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Temple University Tokyo campus and a Master of Science (MSc) in East Asian Business from Sheffield University. Lee has lived in Japan for five years and is a fluent Japanese speaker.
Ronnie Ross
Managing Director
Surface Technology International
Ronnie Ross is Managing Director of Surface Technology International, and has over 22 years experience with Norman Hay.
He joined the East Kilbride surface finishing business in 1986 as General Manager. Following its acquisition by Norman Hay plc in 1988, he has led the business through organic growth, acquisition and start-ups of other coatings businesses located at Irvine in Scotland, Perth in Western Australia and Port Klang in Malaysia.
Martyn Crowther

Martyn Crowther has a wealth of coatings experience, with over 40 years within the surface coatings industry.
He has project managed many major projects including:
- Establishing a coating plant in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
- On-site coating of Conoco Hutton platform Risers
- On-site coating of Conoco Hutton platform Top tether Tension Adjusting elements
- Coating of Tension Adjusting Elements for Saga Snorre platform on site in Norway
- Coating of Snorre platform Riser tensioners
- Coating of nuclear waste storage cylinders for St Varain storage facility Arizona, USA
Gary Lloyd
Managing Director
Ultraseal International
Gary Lloyd has been employed by Ultraseal for twenty years.
As a qualified Mechanical/Production Engineer he has been involved in all aspects of the company including engineering manufacture, commercial contracts and international sales in Europe, USA and Far East. He is responsible for all Ultraseal Group operations including UK, China, India and USA.
Having specialised in the design & manufacture of machine tools and automation, Gary brings to the Ultraseal group over 28 years of commercial and technical expertise gained within the automotive and manufacturing sectors.
Martin Robbins
Group Managing Director
TAM International
Martin has over 26 years practical experience in the construction industry.
As a young man he had a hard grounding in the industry working for a contractor in Saudi Arabia, before moving to the UK to work for Nufins Ltd, Rockwool Ltd and subsequently 8 years with TAM International Consultants.
Moving to Hong Kong in 1990, he became General Manager of Ronacrete Far East for 5 years before returning to the UK to head TAM International.
Now, as Managing Director of the TAM International Group and based in Hong Kong, he maintains a significant shareholding in the business.
Mike Priddle
Managing Director
Norman Hay Engineering
Mike Priddle joined Ultraseal International in March 1987 and in 1998 was appointed to the Board of Ultraseal International as Engineering Director.
Following a strategic review of the Group's engineering activities in 2007, Mike was appointed Managing Director of Norman Hay Engineering.
Norman Hay Engineering employs a multi-discipline team of 45 people to manage the design, manufacturing and project management for installations and after sales service in the UK and overseas.
